Not really — Cmd Recall is deliberately narrow. It doesn't do sub-projects, custom fields, assignees, docs, or chat. It tracks one thing: commitments you made, whether to yourself or someone else, and makes sure they don't quietly disappear.
No. Pasted text and recorded meetings are processed entirely on-device using Apple's on-device AI (Foundation Models and the Speech framework). Nothing is sent to a Cmd Recall server or a third-party AI service to find the commitment.
Because a tool that silently adds things you didn't actually agree to is worse than no tool at all — every candidate commitment, however it was found, goes through a review step before it's tracked.
Yes. Completed and snoozed items stay visible in History and can be reopened at any time — nothing is permanently gone just because it was checked off.
If a tracked commitment hasn't been touched in a while, Cmd Recall resurfaces it — on a moderate, real cadence, not a barrage of notifications. The goal is to actually get you moving on it, not just remind you it exists.
